Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Welcome to Shiur Prati: an AI teacher that teaches kids through live conversation on a shared board. Use of the website and app (the "Service") is subject to these terms. The parent who opens the account accepts them on their own behalf and on behalf of the children they register.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Shiur Prati (a VAT-exempt sole proprietor, "osek patur"). Contact: hello@shiurprati.com.
2. Your account
- Accounts are opened by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. The parent manages the account, creates profiles for the children and pays.
- Every account is verified with an Israeli mobile number. One phone number = one account.
- A family account can have up to 5 children. The parent doesn't count as a user.
- Keep your login details and parent code safe. You're responsible for any use of your account.
3. What the Service is, and what it isn't
- The teacher is AI software, not a person, and it can make mistakes. It doesn't replace a teacher, a school, professional advice or adult supervision.
- Lessons are for learning school material. Don't use the Service for any other purpose.
- We're always improving the Service, so features may change. We won't remove a major feature in the middle of a paid period without notice.
- Fair use: up to 30 lesson hours per child per month. Unusually heavy use (for example, sharing the account outside the family) may lead to account limits, after we contact you.
4. Free lesson, plans and payment
- Each family gets 45 free lesson minutes once, in any subject, with no payment method. Minutes are counted by actual lesson time (waiting for the teacher doesn't count), and can be used across several lessons. The first 15 minutes need no phone verification (once per family and per device); the rest are available after verifying the parent's phone number. Free minutes are given once per phone number: a new account with the same number, or changing your number, doesn't add minutes. When the minutes run out, you can continue with a paid plan.
- The price depends on the number of children, the number of subjects and the billing period (weekly, monthly or yearly), as shown on the plans page when you sign up. Prices are in ₪. Shiur Prati is VAT-exempt, so no VAT is added.
- Payment is made through PayPal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and is charged to the payment method you approved in PayPal until you cancel. A receipt is emailed for every payment.
- If a charge fails, PayPal will try again. If it still doesn't go through, the subscription is suspended and access ends at the end of the paid period.
- Price changes apply only to new subscriptions or after advance notice. Existing subscriptions keep their original price until cancelled.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime, with no commitment. Full details, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Law, are in our Cancellation Policy.
6. Prohibited use
- Don't try to bypass security measures, hack, overload or copy the Service or its content.
- Don't upload offensive or illegal content, or content you don't have the right to upload.
- Don't use the Service to collect information about others or to harm them.
7. Your content
Worksheets, photos and other content you upload stay yours. You allow us to use them only to provide the Service to you (for example, so the teacher can read the exercise). How we store and protect your information: see our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, characters, design, code and content we create belong to Shiur Prati. You may use them only for your family's learning.
9. Liability
- The Service is provided "AS IS". We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we can't promise there will be no glitches, interruptions or mistakes in answers.
- To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any damage is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months before the event. This doesn't affect any rights that can't be waived by law.
- Parents are responsible for supervising their children while they use the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, after contacting you and explaining why (or immediately, if there's a risk to children, the Service or other users). If we close an account for reasons other than a breach, we'll refund the prorated amount paid for the unused period.
11. Changes to these terms
We'll update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of any significant change by email or in the app at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept the new terms, and you can always cancel.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Israeli law. The competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
